About Mission Nutrition

First of all…..a huge WELCOME to my blog!!! I’m so excited you are here reading all this goodness about protein and nutrition and just fun life tid bits, with a little infused humor. I have a saying….”if you can’t laugh, you’re dead”, so get ready to learn something new with a smile. ( :

I know a lot about health and nutrition, but the more I blog, I’m learning a lot along with you as I go! I’m not an expert, just super passionate about the subject, so I find it exciting to spread knowledge on interesting and useful health topics….and the more I blog, the more I actually realize how little I did know. We’ll learn together so we can become informed eaters.

Mission Nutrition is all about awareness, of healthy lifestyle choices, learning the ins and outs surrounding those choices and anything “lifestyle” related….which covers a LOT of things. I enjoy learning helpful nutritional and health related facts, then sharing them in an easy, concise and interesting fashion, which is my daily goal. Educating you about something you didn’t know anything about yesterday. Bringing it to you in a short fun article that you can scan in a few minutes. I want your take away to be a “Huh! that’s pretty cool info”.

I was asked to do this blog because I love to write, I love to have fun with life and I represent the typical person I’m writing to…someone who is a mom (parent), who is young at heart, passionate about a healthy lifestyle for them and their family, thoroughly enjoys modern life while keeping it all in perspective. I’ve been told I’m a “walking talking seminar” and the “tid bit Queen”, so you’ll get a wide variety of information from me here you probably never even thought of.

On a personal side, I recently got remarried to my dream guy in my dream location all the while blending 2 families. There’s never a dull moment in our house and we’re learning as we go. Our motto is “it’s all about communication” (well, one of them anyway), which is hugely important when you’ve got this many coming and going. It’s a busy fun life and I feel incredibly blessed. I’m a mom/stepmom of 6 kids ranging in age from 8 to 25 and I am a 45 year old grandma, which is a pretty funny thing to me. ( :

My official job title is “Storyteller & Happiness Advocate”, which truly describes me to a “t”. More to come later, but I’m thrilled to share that the company I blog for is launching a world changing product in 2014 that is super exciting with an incredible goal to solve world wide malnutrition. We’ll be working with wonderful charitable organizations such as World Vision to accomplish this and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of it.

Wishing you all the very best and a super healthy and happy life. ( :

Stay tuned!! MUCH MORE to come……
